Absolutely not!  Pay difference based on age?  Not only is that unconstitutional, but that sounds an awful lot like child labor.  Plus, working in the plant, these days....how is that really any more difficult than working in a fast food restaurant?  Everything's automated. In both facilties. >_>;

I agree that the man will put the money to better use than the child, but creating pay differences like that doesn't solve the problem, it makes it much, much worse.

Besdies, not all teenagers earn money just to waste it.  Many use money to pay for a car - that's what I did.

You didn't read what he said, did you? He said vary by job, not age. It's just more likely to find a 40 year old male working at a plant and a teenager working at a fast food restaurant than the reverse.

Honda's men are no longer Street Fighters. They see this as a Mortal Kombat, and they have the Killer Instinct. If you do not help your friends, this may be their Final Fight. . . Clayfighter.

Yep same here in the UK, but here it's due to insurance and stuff, I'm not sure about the Netherlands.

I really have no idea why. Probably to prevent excessive labor since we also have maximum laboring hours, income and minimum spare time.

well i voted to increase the minimum wage last year in my state.

The problem with it is first of all it makes it harder for businesses to make new jobs cause costs go up,

 second it causes inflation and interest rate hikes, making it impossible to get good rates on loans and mortgages and even harder to start new businesses.

the inflation evens it out in 3 months anyway, and with Nafta it makes us harder to compete with Mexico or even poorer states for jobs.

but I'm starving and no matter how hard i work my boss is cheap, so what other choice did I have?

Now I have a better job but I stand by the minimalist increase i voted for. I'd feel better about it if we could repeal NAFTA though. Just to secure my job.
