I told you, you didn't double post, I merged the topics together and it looked like you made a double post.  Don't worry about it.

Thanks Crazyfreak!! Yes, for some reason I always liked to twist things up with extisting characters..Dunno why, but I love it!

Additions of some recent artwork!    I hope the links will work, these images are directly from my new art page www.marrienl.sheezyart.com (you could take a look some day if you like)

Okay this first sketch has a little story....
Noni(right) is in tears..When his father Kaar, an excellent skilled nurse at a local Hylian hospital, gets struck by cancer and suffers great illness Noni decides to end the tortured life of his beloved father. Noni already lost his mother(Midori) after she gave birth to him. His father Kaar was all he cared about the most. He finds it hard and blames himself, and searches for his cousin Link for support..

Noni as he was as a baby, 1 year old. ^^

Just a light sketch made at work of a shiny happy Goya. I liked the way his hair turned out, so I decided to leave the black stripes out.

A rough draft of Ayano and Goya posing together. Though the fact they broke up they make a perfect couple drawing them together. I've lots of those scraps.. But this one turned out nice, made at work during my lunchbreak. Btw, I left Goya's stripes out here as well. Just to keep the sketch effect..

And last but not least...A sketchy of Link. ^^

And...Additions in colour! yay!

Not much because colouring still takes time and I don't have much time nowadays..But, I finished a little one today so that one will be scanned and added later this week.

And... This one of Link, that you'll probably know from my avatar.

Finally done it in colour: Ayano. Here's a short and newer biography copypasted from my art page...
This is Ayano, 32 years old, schoolteacher in both gym and ocarina lessons and father of a twin son named Yodi and Cahay. He had a tough childhood, living in a small house cooking and taking care of a sick mother and five younger siblings. Ayano already knew on an early age that he felt a strong crush for both male and female gender. His older cousin Jinbo visited the crowded house for once in a while. Ayano just couldn't get him out of his head and thought about him every day, until he reached the age of 24 shortly after his mother's death and felt it was ready to leave home and search for a better life in a different region of Elfwood. He met Goya two years later.
In present time Ayano is Goya's ex-boyfriend. Before that, they've spent two years in a close and exciting relationship. The mad addiction to cokaine that both queer lovers suffered led to their violent break-up.

Furthermore Ayano is an excellent swordsman and bass-player, and he's also good at cooking. As long as Ayano isn't under influence of drugs he's a kind and quiet lonesome adult, spending his time in the grass gazing other elfpeople. When he isn't quiet he is loud and around, enjoying a good underground party dancing the guts out. All because of a lack of attention he's used to get in lack.

Wow... Just wow...

I especially like the one of Link, and the latter, of Ayano.  I think it's nice that you have some story behind all your characters as well!  Way to build a mythology, hee hee ^^

Thanks!!! :D I'm flathered!
I loove big biographies, especially my favourite characters have the longest stories. And yes, when they're perfect I'll turn it into comics someday.

Yay, more adds!!

I decided to submit his little bio one more time:
Kendo. 25 years old. Golden blonde hair(extremely tall hair, wich explains his rastahat). light tanned, light green eyes. A real charming male hylian, good at swordsfighting and ocarina playing, but excellent skilled in guitarplaying. He's father of two doughters (Cheza 7,5 yrs, Himi 4 yrs) and one son (Ranon 2 yrs.), and there's a fourth child expecting together with the future mother: Kafei. Kendo is often otherwise called, the 'Super Daddy'.
Kendo met Goya for the first time on the age of 7 at the front door of primary school. Goya was bullied very badly, so he decided to protect the vulnerable neo-hylian. They're soulmates for life, and they often spend their free time jamming..with a dream to become famous someday, somehow..

One more chest-up drawing of Goya, it turned out just the way he looks best. The sceptical Goya look.^^ I've used it as an avatar.

Also of this character, his little bio one more time to get to know him:
This is Cyrill, a 24 years old jolly male Hylian that enjoys a good booze (especially beer) each day, everytime..such as dancing, there goes nothing but throw a party!
Even in modern times Cyrill still wears typical hylian gear: a biege tunic or a blue shorter one, dark brown underpants and boots. He is engaged with Carmine this spring, they got their first child last february wich is a boy named: Ramone.
Cyrill is life lusty, but his lame sense of humor is not always appreciated by other hylians. Goya and Noni for example fiercely dislike him.

Remember Degaru Jr.? Well, this is one of his siblings, his younger brother Jiro (19 yr.). He's also a buddy of Noni, and dresses more gothic then others of my known hylian characters. Jiro also loves to play guitar and he's hoping to form a band with Goya and Kendo, to become famous one day. Kendo is the one that teaches Jiro all the good and usefull stuff about playing guitar best.
I'm still working on a larger bio for Jiro, so when finished, I'll update it real soon!

...Now it's not a double post anymore..^^ Thanks, Hyrulian Soldier!! Yeah, the horizontal ears are kinda symbolic to the hylians. It suits them!

The two coloured drawings of Goya and Ayano (wrapped in chains) are specially made for a colleague of my sister. He was stunned by one doodle I left at my sister's place one time, so I asked if he was interested in more. He's very fixated on bare torso's, just in case you're wondering why I drew my characters (half) naked. But no worries, I took the time to censure the explicit part for public. If this is still unappropiate, let me know..and I'm willing to remove the drawing then. But hey, I'm both naughty..and neat. Enjoy!(ladies)

And a little doodle, just for fun. left to right: Yuri, Cyrill, Carmine.

So, here are some sketchy adds!

Whenever Noni feels down, there's only one way to feel better..His favorite horse Vienna always cares and charms.
This was a very quick sketch as you can see, I found the horse way too big and there's a trace of the drawing wich is on the back of this sketchy.. But it turned out so cute that I decided to submit it.

This is little 7 years old Kyman, Goya's only proud son. He has a bit of the same bold nature as his father does. ^^
I decided to write down some little information next to the drawing, so you get to know this tiny rascal.

And ofcourse, Goya in his famous bare torso pose..I doodled this at work once, but didn't finished it..until earlier this week. ^^ I loooove his body!
He looks a little blue-ish because it was just drawn on a lightly dirty piece of paper. Took me a lot of cleaning, before submitting this..

That would be moderately creepy, it's just a drawing.

To me it's more than a drawing.. These are my thoughts on paper. But hey, everybody has it's own point of view. I respect that.

Aww, Goya and Kyman...  Cute!

And, eh, I would never say "I love his body" cause that just sounds plain wrong, but it is a very good drawing indeed!

To you people this may look like just a drawing. I LOVE his body, because I am happy about the result. Isn't it great if something you've made up, comes out perfectly the way you want it? I don't know what's so 'plain' wrong about it. To me it's the truth.
I can draw you guys a nice looking female character, and you might would shout the same.

Anyways, thanks HS! And Goya and Kyman are indeed the cute father/son duo together!

No I know what you mean.  I have no drawing skills myself but I recognise fine work when I see it.  It can be quite satisfying to have something you created work out so well!

I said it would be plain wrong for us guys to affirm "I looooove his body", cause, well, you know. Gender stereotypes and homophobia and all that.  But I know what you mean, and you are in fact right. ^^

They sure are

True that.. I thought you meant it would be plain wrong to me, wich isn't. LOL

Your coloring's pretty nice, ever consider entering the digital realm?  Your style is also pretty refined so I don't think you need to worry about that.  If you want to push stuff to the next level though, I'd suggest a little more study of anatomy, it goes a long way.  The abdomal muscles are a bit unnatural, they seem more like pads attatched to your character's body, and I think given the slimmer nature of your characters, the abs might mot be as bulkily formed.  If you don't already have some, I'd suggest some anatomy books, for instance Peck's Human Anatomy for the Artist, and just draw a lot of those in studies, and also, do a lot of life drawing, of real people in public if you can.  Quick sktches to get the action of a person.  If possible, take a life drawing class, it helps.

Otherwise, keep up the good work, your characters have a lot of thought behind them, which is pretty cool, and your styles nice, just keep working on the technical aspect and you'll be great.

Thanks, JordAnime!! Your advice is really really welcome! Yes, I am having a hard time drawing a body properly (only the best results are posted), and you're the first one that noticed it. I'm still working real hard on even more better results, and I'm still improving though wich is good, but purchasing an anatomy book would do great! For a moment I thought about drawing classes as well wich has been a while, perhaps I should carry on with that.
Furthermore, I have a good reason for being a n00b in human anatomy. I've drawn only horses for years since my childhood, really. I never really took the time to focus on a human body, though the efforts of friends and family that tried to push me a little into it. I have an obsessive nature, and I'm not ashamed of it. From back then until present day I've only drawn what I'm fixated on. Right now, I can clearly see that I'm more fixated on a Hylian's facial look and their ears instead of being more fixated on their bodies. Even though most of my male characters are known for their sex appeal. A perfect body is important to express them better. That kinda keeps me going in practicing. I'm already observing my surrounding even better, and I'm even getting requests from others for new idea's. And you, Jordan, is a real good help!

And yes, I am thinking about going digi real soon! But I will not give up on the pencils then, they give me a lot of new experience and ideas in colouring by hand. Digital drawing is a way more easy tool and less work, wich comes in handy for making comics in the future. Though I will wait a little with that until I get my own place to live, then I will purchase special programs and tools so I can focus on digital art.
