How did you like your new game?

It's good but I like the GBA original more. I like to have direct control to a game character. And I find the screen-scrolling annoying.

Managed to purchase and get a couple of hours with my first Virtual Console purchase on Friday night. Lylat Wars aka StarFox. Need a little bit more time getting used to C-sticking some of the commands, but it looks pretty sweet.

Slippy is still an annoying little tart though...

And of course I have a little something called Pokémon Diamond heading my way sometime soon.

I got my Pokemon Diamond today, plus the big stylus that went with my preorder. I still haven't started on it yet. By the way, is anybody going to get Pokemon Pearl? It seems like a lot more people are getting the Diamond versionl  :

I always go  for the first title...  Red, Gold, Ruby, LeafGreen...  And the other version I do buy as well, but only to catch the missing Mon.  Ma main game's always the first of the two (or later three)...

As D/P only comes out on 30 June over here, I'll have to wait...  But then I still got some 280 Mon to catch for my National Dex...

On Friday I got Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault for no more than €10!  (Which is about $12)

They did a special on a few games - priced at 2/3rds of the price just on Friday and Saturday, so I couldn't let that one pass...

And I bought Pokémon Stadium 2 from Ebay...  As it turned out I had myself a lousy French version.  French screentext only.  Boy was I pissed when I found that out...

Fortunately the UK still had a few cartridges left, so after yet another £15 down the drain I will soon (finally) be able to play the wonders of 'Stadium 2 on my ol' 64!  Good times are here again.

I'm now a proud owner of Hotel Dusk: Room 215 for the DS. Haven't played it yet, though... But will do soon.

Just purchased a second hand GBA SP on eBay so I can get down and dirty with some GBA to GC linkage far seriously than before.

The SP was bundled with Spongebob Squarepants Lights, Camera, Pants and Mario Party Advance.

... Be taking them to GAME as soon as I get the bundle.

I mean the nice people at GAME will give me some money in exchange for the games I don't want. Both of them. And then I might get something a little more to my taste.

I.e. Something which isn't crap.

Aha.  That's what I thought.  But you confused me there.

That being said, uhuh.  I had kinda inferred by the Spongebob travesty that that part of the deal wasn't really satisfactory

But still... ^^

Taking my first steps into PC gaming, I got myself Neverwinter Nights, Half-Life (the original) and Homeworld for £10 total. Not a bad deal.

Half Life is awful compared to Half Life 2, and HL2 includes Half Life.  I loved Neverwinter Nights, my favorite part is that they include the Aurora Engine so you cna make your own games.
