To be honest, I was left feeling a little underwhelmed by Half-Life after all the critical acclaim it received; but I suppose that, much in the way that Mario 64 laid down the foundations for the modern 3D platformer, Half-Life was one of the defining FPSes of its era and, subsequently, has been subject to plentiful theivery by modern entries to the genre, which is why it seems somewhat mediocre to someone like me experiencing the game for the first time in this day and age.

...The obvious difference being that Mario 64 still remains a unique title by today's standards.

... Pokémon Stadium 2 - English version finally got delivered to me today!!!

Heck, I'd been ranting about that game for days when I had first set my mind on it.  Then I got screwed over with that lousy French version (I have no issues with French, but I like my games in English tyvm).

So GOOD TIMES!!!

I bought FF9 (my own copy) at a convention, finally played it last night, and then found out that for some reason, the file isn't readable on the mem card.  (I swear it isn't corrupted!!)  And I'm not so sure I have any PS1 cards anymore...

I've borrowed some games from a friend.    We Love Katamari is still addicting, and I still haven't played Resident Evil 4...

Kid Icarus on the VC. This follows from my first VC purchase of Lylat Wars a while back. Can't remember if I mentioned it here or not.

I've got 500 points left to spend... Might go on Adventures of Lolo...

I bought Pokémon Colosseum together with Pokémon Box off Ebay UK today.

... Though I really just wanted Pokémon Box, but there you go.  If I'm very bored I might see about Colosseum.  Though I don't reckon it'll be worth the trouble just to get an Ho-oh...

I was planning to buy Castlevania: Lament of Innocence for PS2 but I feel it's best to play two more 2-D Castlevania games.  I picked up the Castlevania Double Pack for GBA which was on clearence for 50% off of the regular price.

Today I've transferred the money for... Pokémon Diamond and Pearl!  I'm gonna get it Monday probably.

I've decided I'm going for Pearl to play.  But I've bought Diamond, too, just because.  I may still sell it to my friend if I have no need for it anymore.  Although, knowing me, I may just as well keep it.  Got almost all the Pokémon games there are, lol.

And FTR: I saved €10 on each game.  W00T!

While recently looking for a copy of Transformers for the PS2 for a nephew of mine at a local Game Crazy,
I bought an original NES copy of Mike Tyson's Punch-Out! for $2.50. Later that day, I found out that Kid Dynamite was still no match for Little Mac with me in his corner, despite 20 years since the last time we sparred.

Resident Evil 4 - Wii Edition!

And my, does it look sweet, what with the extra content...

I haven't actually played it yet though.  Duty first, leisure later.  But I'm definitely gonna be enjoying this for a very long time.

I finally got RE4 Wii Edition myself.  Even though I already played the GCN edition, I feel that so far it was worth a purchase.  Don't get me wrong, I like both games and right now, I feel that RE4 is better than Zelda: TP.  It's better than Zelda: TP when it's on the Wii and... To be honest, I never played the GCN edition of Zelda: TP, but I bet that RE4 is better than Zelda: TP when it's on the GCN.

Picross DS.

Not the most exciting choice in the world to some, but I do love my DS puzzlers, and this will hopefully capture the magic of Mario Picross to some extent. And my DS has been far too inactive since Pokemon came along...
