we've got a 50% divorce rate in marriages, with the other 50% involving cheating, murder, boredom, and dissatisfaction.

But it's probably less than 15% of the 50% that those things apply to, people can be happily married but the rest of them should never marry in the first place.

If Christainty hadn't spread across the west and Roman ideals of sex were still floating around, we'd be living in a world where it's acceptable to have multiple partners AND partners of the same sex.

We'd also be living in a world where STDs would be a bit more of a problem although they might have helped with population control, actually we really don't know how the world have become over the 1700+ years that Christianity wouldn't be working...

I think it depends on your morals and religion. Me and my fiance are saving ourselves for each other due to religion and our own preferences We're healthy and a LOT less jealous and more trusting then most couples.

But if you do not choose to do so I have no right to force you. But I do pray my children will have similar morals to my own and different morals from those of my hippy free love parents. But I'll love them either way.

I belive that its ok to be practiced before marrige but within reason, not going crazy with it.

Anyone can get legally bound together by law, then break it later on. Now marriage? A REAL marriage would be when the couple decides they could live an eternity entirely without sex with the other person, just to be with them. It is, however, wise to wait a while before jumping to the bedsheets(or couch, kitchen sink, bathtub, etc.), even if you do have an unbreakable bond. Just be wise.
