Much like the thread I made about the GCN, this is for listing your favorite PS2 titles. There's no limit on how many you can list, nor do they all have to be 10/10 AAA titles. If you think that the game warrants a purchase, feel free to list it. Not only is this good for sharing your favorite titles, but it will also help those who want to go bargain hunting for the PS2 find good games now that the PS3 is out and the price drops will hopefully begin soon.
I fall into the category of those who don't own a PS2, but plan to get one when the price drops. For that reason, I cannot list any games that I personally like, but a few that I plan to get when I buy my PS2 are Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3, Kingdom Hearts, Shadow of the Colossus, and Final Fantasy XII.

Shadow of the Colossus is my favorite game ever, as I have said before. The Kingdom Hearts games are great, too, and Final Fantasy X and XII. Okami is good. Dark Cloud 2 (or "Dark Chronicle") is underrated in my opinion. Oh, and both Katamari games are totally awesome.

Sort of like Mongooseman, now that the PS3's out I finally went out and got myself a PS2! XD So this thread will be very helpful.
Anyway, Kingdom Hearts, FFXII, and Okami are already on my to-get list; does anyone know any good non-Final Fantasy/SquareEnix rpgs for the PS2? Also, would anyone reccomend God of War?

When I first saw this thread I went "ahh cool! fav ps2 games!! mine are........oh my..." it took me a few minutes to realize I mostly used my ps2 for playing ps1 games with better graphics..lol
My fav games were..ehh..*scratches head*
in no order
-Gran Turismo 3
-LOK Soul Reaver 2
-Soul Calibur 3 ....?? I didn't care much for the stratgey game though.
-Devil May Cry 1
-Mega Man X collection!!! lol
-Zone of the Enders....omg.. love that game, just turn off the captions and turn off the sound on your tv, sub your own music.
-Zoe 2
-Fatal Frame
-Fatal Frame 2
-The Armored Core series
I think thats about it...

Any Final Fantasy (Inlcuding PS1 which play on it as well) and the Burnout games Takedown and revenge being amazing if your into crazy racing titles.
I can play Burnout revenge for hours on end and not get tired of it.
