So Halo 3 ODST is out, and me and TML have been playing it in co-op. Gotta say, pretty damn good game so far, actually better than Halo 3. Soundtrack is great, characters are very interesting, and the gameplay is pretty nice. It's not just a linear type shoot-em-up, you have to constantly check your map and compass to make sure you're going the right way to complete your current objective, and the fact that you don't play as a genetically enhanced cyborg makes it all the more challenging. Plus, with all of the new features it feels like a Metroid Prime game some of the time. Definetely worth renting.

Only game that made me slightly annoyed that my xbox broke. However we traded it in for £103 with all the games and got 3 good ps3 games. So I'm not that annoyed.

That doesn't sound like a great deal. But yeah, ODST is awesome so far.

it's £103 for games we shall never play again even if we'd kept the system. And well we'd have had to pay £100 to get it fixed. And that would be to play mass effect 2 and ODST. I can wait for mass effect 2 on pc (if my computer can run it that is). And I was only semi excited about odst, as I am not the biggest fps fan.

I actually wasn't super hyped about ODST either. I figured it'd be more of the same, but I like the series so I'd wind up getting it anyway. I was pleasantly surprised by it, however. And I guess your trading in those games makes sense so long as you know you're never going to want to play them again. I did something similar with some old 64 games a few years back, only to find myself collecting copies of those games from various blockbusters and gamestops and enjoying them again.

I dunno every xbox game I own was either a boring fps, a sub par rpg or mass effect. and Mass effect only goes so far.

I haven't played it yet but it looks good. I really liked the commercial trailers they made for it. They should approve the Halo movie again.

Rented it. Beat it in 3 hours. Took it back.

Yes but did you try firefight? Or play as Sgt. Johnson? Didn't think so.

Maybe he's that good. Or has a poor understanding of time. Or you're gay. one of those three. Technically it doesn't have to be just one. But if we're talking psuedo-productive lists of reasons as to "why hups beat the game in three hours and took it back and may or may not have tried firefight or played as seargent johnson in the process", then you should at least make a full list. For instance, it's possible that he was so underwhelmed by the campaign that he didn't even think firefight was worth trying. OR he tried it for a while then got bored and took the game back. OR he tried it before he beat it. And maybe he doesn't like Sgt. Johnson. Personally I thought his death in Halo 3 sucked and was contrary to anything his character would do, but that's irrelevant here. Point is I'm way more efficient at making lists of reasons why people do things none of which are probably correct or if they are it's because it's a very obvious reason... than you.

Read my post, I clearly do understand that. I just don't think you're very thorough.

Not often, which is why it's going to work!
