I'm keeping this short and simple. I'm playing PH, and I need only a Golden Hull and a Demon Chimney. That's it. I have some duplicates to trade, including an extra gem anchor. PM me and let me know what you may need. Thanks.

(If there's another thread in which this post is more appropriate, let me know Powers-That-Be.)

UPDATE:  Just got the demon chimney by running through TOTOK floors B7-B9 killing phantoms.  Gonna try this a few more times for the golden hull.  But that is now the only part I'm missing so offer still good to trade if anybody's intersted.

Change your DS clock to the time Masked Beedle has his shop, and keep changing the dates.   If I recall correctly he's around from 10 til 12 AM on week days and PM in the weekend.  That's how I bought many of them.  The golden parts cost several thousand rupees though.

When I was down to 11 parts, I started doing nothing but moving the date forward one day at a time. This got me 9 out of the 11.  (including most of the golden parts.)  But he just refuses to carry a golden hull or a demon chimney.    I checked each day over a 3-month period to no avail.  That's when I decided to try other means like the Temple of Ocean King and the arrow-shooting game.

I didn't know about the Masked Beetle appearances at those specific times. I'll give that a  shot today. Thanks for the info, hope it works.

Did you do the 4 Big Plays (Wi-Fi battle)?  You get 4 golden ship parts by completing 4 Big Plays.

I would still need another person with a DS for that, right?

I know a guy from work that may own a DS and the game but I'm not sure.

For the record, I had to keep changing the date forward on my DS for over a year before I got all the Ship Parts. One or two of them will always be winning-the-lottery scale rare.

I can't help but wonder whether the constant restarting of the DS system is gonna wear the system out.  I know people do it, but is this really a good idea?

@ HS --   You appear to recall correctly about the times of day on which Masked Beedle ship appears.   But upon closer observation, I have learned that his inventory for any given day is still exactly the same as that of the regular Beedle ship.

That being said, I have not yet obtained the part but I'm keeping at it.

AND GREAT NEWS EVERYONE!

BY THE GRACE OF GOD, I JUST WON THE GOLDEN HULL OFF THE ARCHERY GAME!!!!

I have done it!  Oh my God, I have done it.  I got all the ship parts!

Thank you to those who took the time to read and reply to this post.

All's I got left to do now is hunt down that last courage gem, which I am determined to find without a guide.

I've done everything else.  I even completed the fish journal (got a stowfish) and completed the TOTOK 0 min. 0 sec. challenge.

And on the other end of the spectrum, it took me about a week to get all the ship parts after the point I decided to.

But good job! Haha
