 Yes, I am serious.

To summarize, Tokyo TV is filing a $4,000,000 lawsuit against one of the most despised names in the anime industry, 4Kids Entertainment, but wait until you hear why.

4Kids joined with Funimation and Majesco  to hide income from Tokyo TV regarding the Yu-Gi-Oh! home videos. For that reason, Tokyo TV has now terminated its contract with 4Kids, legally denying them the right to touch Yu-Gi-Oh. It gets better, though...

Not ONLY did they withhold funds regarding the series on video, but 4Kids and these companies also licensed the franchises and series of other companies to themselves for television broadcast and home movie sales. In other words, many of those animes you hate them for dubbing and censoring? Not only did they have no legal right to do it, but actually committed fraud to pull it off, hence the pricey lawsuit.

Not done yet though: In all that fraud, 4Kids also withheld taxes. That's another $2,500,000 they owe someone.

4Kids has mostly refused to cooperate.

My.....my precious anime...dubbed....glorious nippon will not stand for this-every person who rages at the existence of 4kids.

But seriously, this is pretty hillarious.

Lol I read one of the mangas once when I was very very bored, he literally played a game where he put a scorpion in a guys shoe, and they had to take turns wearing the shoe.

Comic was hardcore.

Also lame anime/manga shit for children.

Not to say all anime or manga is for pathetic manchildren, or 14 year olds, or perverts, but 99.99999% of it is.

Story dates back to March

It dates back to the 29th of March.  That's practically close enough to April to kidnap her and run before the Turtles even realize something's up.

This.  Ironically it would be less funny as a prank.

So, you know how in old arcades like the Ninja Turtles games, a boss flashes more and more as you get close to beating him?

That is really obnoxious.  It always bugged me how 4Kids would refuse to stay true to the source material when dubbing a lot of these shows into english.  Even moreso after I read a statement by one of them once basically saying that fans needed to accept that the english version would be different, as if altering all aspects of a show were common sense.  I'm a fan of pretty much none of the shows they've dubbed (not because they're bad, I never really watched them so I don't know), but still.  Maybe some other companies can take a crack at these shows, do a better job.  Happened with One Peice anyway.

One piece oughta be the prime example of 4Kid's work, rather than YuGiOh. I do consider it the worst anyways.
