"MAKE A FRIKKIN SEQUEL TO MM!!!!!!!!! Sorry.... its my favorite...."    YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Sombody agrees with me on this forum!

"Making a multi-player mode with two players that work together to complete dungeons or can complete different dungeons simultaneously. Also, the player file will be able to accessed by both Player 1 and 2 to do quests on their own if the other Player isn't available."

My game that spans alternate Hyrule's would have that easy and MORE,  Duh Nintendo!   Like I said they make a gimmick device and throw it away after a few years not useing it as full as they could.

"Have a WICKED beautifully designed scenery"

TP had too much brown and not enough foliage in it:  My favorite place was Faron Woods in the game.  Let's have more variety shall we?  Variety doesn't hurt you know.

Here I corrected this for you:         More/cooler weapon mods and gets (fire, ice, light, shadow, earth, bomb arrows) (Zora Armor, Normal Clothes,Birthday Suit, Magic Armor takes LESS ruppees, etc.    I want the birthday suit if you can program the birth-date your self.

Mine is April 21st so I would punch in A-P-R-I-L 21st and it would unlock on THAT day unless I manually adjusted the clock somehow.     I will have to wait half a year but it will be fun.

We sir, have much in common! I love MM as well. I think that if there was to be a MM sequel, it should be involving Termina, Hyrule, and some smaller place in between. Sort of like and old-time remix. You get it? What do you think?

Music that is atmospheric and at the same time catchy.
I'm sick of all this debate at how zelda needs orchestral. Zelda doesn't need orchestral. The only reason people complained about this is because TP's music was kind of..............meh.

Yes it does. MIDI doesn't even come close to producing acceptable sound quality, and I'll be extremely disappointed if they try to pass it off as music in the next game.

Also: IGN's input.

Honestly, I feel orchestral should only be used for boss themes and dramatic cut-scenes. Music is very important in developing a feel to the game. And I feel Zelda should be an atmospheric experience, and putting in Orchestral in every area of the next zelda game would ruin that experience for many. Who says zelda has to be MIDI? It's all the zelda sound composers decisions that effected the sound quality in Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. I felt both those game produced a sort of weak quality in music.

There are many devices that can be manipulated to create fantastic music without orchestral. It's just that Nintendo has been using the same tools they've been using since the early gamecube era.

Well, I wasn't suggesting that they use huge booming symphonies for every section of the game, but there's other types of orchestral music and there's very few parts of existing Zelda games that orchestral music wouldn't work in. And if they're going to be using realistic graphics in the next game, there's even more reason to use it.

Orchestral music...

...is a must. Why ruin a quality game with shitty music? Agree with hisak there's no need for booming symphonies for every theme, but the sound you can generate with an orchestra is phenomenal compared to MIDI.

That sounds too much like Fire Emblem to me there with the dragon thing.

damn straight, its a stupid cop out for not having a main character of substance and it makes the game ridiculously easy...

but a main character of substance would probably have dialogue

and we can't have that, now can we?

Meh, it doesn't have to be that much substance, the story needs to focus on Link more i think so he needs relevance rather then substance, although i am becoming less and less opposed to Link talking, or at least having a bigger emphasis on implied talking...

Exactly!!! And I don't think people realize the possibilties with live instruments. If what they're worried about is losing unique sounds, then they need to realize that moving to live instruments offers in fact a greater variety.

There's so many effects to be had.

You can place a cymbal upside down on a timpano and bow its edge (EDIT: play a roll while changing the pedal) and it will make a sound similar to that of low rumbling wind.

EDIT: Bowing the edge will result in a smooth, eerie metallic sound.

Raindrops? They make these drums called udu drums that sound like big drops of water hitting the surface of a pond.

Waves? There is an instrument called an ocean drum.

The list is endless. It's time to put human emotion and soul into music! We can convey more emotion than any computer could ever dream of! (plus computers can't dream)

Koji Kondo is brilliant. It's time to not only let him out of the cage, but to take off the leash.

Orchestral music is so full of emotion, it'd be pretty epic to see a big fight scene with Orchestral music implemented.

..or at least a trailer..

Actually, I'm pretty sure that the trailer that was included on the Twilight Princess disc was completely orchestral. It's nothing like an entire game would be, though.

It'll probably be another out-of-hyrule adventures but even if zelda isnt in it most of it,
GIVE HER AND LINK SOME ACTION

Yeah true, if some (or most, or all..) of the next Zelda was orchestrated I'd have no problem with that. As before, its emotional music, definitely good build up for a dramatic scene, oh the possibilities.

HOPEFULLY they keep the compatibility so you can play the "next Zelda" on the current Wii version, and not making it the "New Wii" exclusive as I've been hearing that there is a new Wii coming out. >.>

As long as it doesn't have the title "Hero of Light" and isn't a sequel to Twilight Princess, I'll live. Nintendo can concoct what they want, I will still love it.
I guess I could agree that a sequel to MM would be awesome, 'cause it's just that cool, for a short game. I love the music.
The only thing I want out of Zelda right now is music. Very dynamic music. I have way over two hours of Zelda music sitting in my flash drive, and I would die a beautiful death if Nintendo redid it. Full orchestra, full band, several guitars, no special computer effects, and an ocarina soloist. I might hire people to do that for my story, once I get it done and gallop to Nintendo to claim a spot there as an artist and game designer.

Make me a Zelda game that is full and stand alone and original...i'm not sure if i care if its non linear , so long as the sidequests are plentiful and free and it is reasonably difficult and isn't as obvious as TP or TWW for that matter...now that we are talking about it, i want to see a crazy trailer that will get my blood pumping...but hopefuly for a game that is gonna be far different from what i expect(coz i have low expectations, i expect it to be original, and ninty don't do original much)
