That is actually the Canadian's older sister. She's technically a Canadian too, just not the Canadian as far as I'm concerned.
Ah I see the resemblance now. I'm guessing the Canadian is the one who's staked her claim on your arm. Now that could pose a problem if the possessed nature of the sister is hereditary. |

To be honest, they're both pretty weird exemplars of the human race, but I wouldn't go so far as to call the Canadian possessed. |

Correction, we're burning the oil from the reservoir, not the rig. I don't think we'd be standing there having our photo taken if the rig was on fire. -_-
Also the flare's attracting a ton of sharks - so if the rig is alight, jumping overboard is not an escape route option.

There's not that much smoke. What you're seeing is the water spray to keep the rig from overheating. We use either the port or starboard flare depending on the wind direction so the wind doesn't blow the flare back towards us (obviously not a good idea!).
Ahaha after being washed a few times, those coveralls are finally starting to shrink. XD
