It is news that will probably make Nintendo angry at me, but that is to be expected of anything I am involved with.

I told you'd it'd be kinda exciting!

Comrade john_smith_account has completed his Ocarina Editor into a usable beta stage. Now this is going to be nowhere as user friendly as you'd expect to be, it may be in wireframe, but it still works. Eventually it will get better, and not be in wireframe, but this is still a significant milestone in getting things done.



I have set up a hub for information about modding Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, the tutorials and documents are not yet entirely done because I very am a lazy person when it comes to writing technical documents, however, for the time being this is still the headquarters for Ocarina's Modding Community.

Feel free to stop by our forums and post whatever you might manage to make with the map editor, or download other people's map mods.

Now lets see how long it takes for us to get my email box full of cease and desist letters!

If I remember correctly, this is basically the exact same thing that happened last April Fool's day. Except this time, it's really early, instead of really late.

It better not be an April's Fools joke. First of all it's still March. Secondly I hate April's Fools crap. Third another Zelda site got ripped hardcore for their own April Fools joke last year. I'm not holding my breath. I'm not going to get myself excited. I am going to check back to for confirmations.

It's probably like 'Zelda 2 on US VC monday...maybe'. Nintendo took care of that, and moved the stuff around, preventing people from checking it. If it's anything at all.
