Sometimes I wonder what drives modders. I mean, I would love to know more about circuitry than I do at this time, but even I do not think I would use the resources in this way. It is a cool idea, but I always find myself asking, "What's the point?"

At any rate, French modder, Kotomi has turned a gold Legend of Zelda NES cartridge into a system capable of playing Famicom games.

Not too much to say. You either think it is cool or you don't.

That's what I thought when I was posting it, but since the guy who claims to have made it posted this only on the 22nd, I thought it wouldn't be considered that old. I am pretty sure that it has been done before, but not sure that it was the exact mod or if it had been done with a different game.

Yes, you are right. It looks cool, but at the same time it is Zelda cartridge abuse!

I love this kind of stuff, console modding is something I just love to look at.
