Tingle's Balloon Trip of Love Famitsu Details

Ugh. I don't know what to think about this game. I have heard some pretty awful things about its predecessor: Freshly Picked: Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland, but to be fair, I have never played the game myself. But given the way he is in Zelda games, I can't say that he would be the first person I would pick to star in his own game. To be honest, I can't stand him in Wind Waker.
Anyway, our ever-informative reader, Henrie, has linked me to IGN.com's coverage of some recent details about "Color Changing Tingle's Balloon Trip of Love" that I am sure will entice and delight even the most cynical Zelda fans!
Here's what we've got from IGN.com It is basically a run down of what is mentioned in the Famitsu article.
Henrie was also nice enough to include some scans in his email. Now, I didn't want to hotlink the site that Henrie gave me so I am hosting the images myself, but I probably should give them credit and say that the site is called Gamersland.com. They're not very large images, but they should suffice, I guess.
Here they are:

Once again, thanks a lot, Henrie!

Yeah, I'm gonna have to side with Santuli on this. Even though I said that I can't stand Tingle really, billing this series of games as the death of Zelda, let alone Nintendo, is simply absurd. The CD-i Zelda games didn't do that; the Tingle games won't.
Now, I suppose if the same people who made the main Zelda games were working on the Tingle games, you could argue that their time is being spent developing the Tingle games instead of Zelda games, but that really is not the case; they have completely different development team.
I wouldn't get too bent out of shape over it.

I don't know . . . the art actually looks kind of cute . . . in a way. It looks like Tingle has a girlfriend. I wonder what that's going to entail.
I can't believe I'm saying that!
Besides, there was a rumor that Tingle was based of of Koji Kondo, the great composer of Zelda music. Gotta give Tingle SOME credit!
. . . And didn't Nintendo start BEFORE 1989?

@stormcloud
Nintendo was, in fact, founded in 1889 as makers of Hanafuda cards. Though they didn't make video games at the time, they were in business.

lol, yea, that was the point of my post :P
Making mountains out of molehills!
Opinions about Tingle aside...people have been predicting the death of Nintendo for years now. TINGLE being THE one thing that will cause this is just ridiculous...beyond ridiculous. Any word will be an understatement in describing how ridiculous it is.

@Santuli
Exactly. Therefore we turn to religion! I know that at least in Judaism, they often try to describe God using double-negatives because you couldn't quantify God in words.
For example, you couldn't really say God is kind because that doesn't do justice to God. So, you would say, "God is not unkind." Therefore, you have only set a lower limit, but not an upper one.
We can apply the same concept to the absurdity of that statement by saying that "That statement is not impeccable."
Oh, @Ninjax. I am just having fun here; not trying to fake fun of you. ;-)

Interestingly, in regard to Nintendo's age, they have by concequence experienced much as a company. During a short period between 1963 - 68, Nintendo was in the business of 'Love Hotels'.
Anyway, Tingle. I haven't seen anything of Freshly Picked: Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland, and am happily distanced from this title although Nintendo obviously totally aware of the reception of Tingle by some fans of the Zelda franchise. The appearances I know the character for the most; Wind Waker and Majora's Mask; I feel as though ontop of being there for strange comic relief, his character is also slightly taking the mickey out of the player. I enjoyed his inclusion in Majora's Mask.
