CONFIRMED: Triforce in Google's Logo Deliberately
07-20-2009
By: DSCUBED
I just posted about Google's various uses of the Triforce in their holiday logos. Well, it turns out it's probably no coincidence.
Apparently, all of these logos were designed by Susie Sahim,a Google artist and Zelda fan. It seems that Google has also removed the Triforces from their various logos, adding more credibility to this.
It would make sense. I mean, it's pretty obvious from her personal blog that she is a Zelda fan, so I don't think it is too much of a stretch to say that this is happening deliberately.
When Google was asked to comment by Joystiq, the following response was issued:
"Our doodles aim to celebrate interesting events and anniversaries around the world that reflect Google's playful personality and love of innovation. As for our Triforce Easter egg, we're glad people discovered it and enjoyed it before it vanished back into the Zeldasphere. We appreciate people around the world looking into our artwork so closely!"
Sounds like a confession to me!
Very nice, Suzie, very nice.

If they do, they have really no reason to. I mean, it is a common shape. On the other hand, I suppose that if it's public that this was done intentionally, Nintendo might "wanna slice." I did a quick and non-lawyerly US Trademark search and I didn't find the Triforce there. If it was there, Nintendo would be obligated to defend it, but I didn't see it. Who knows? Maybe it's Google just being funny. Maybe they had this planned all along.

it's not the right thread but who cares that ones too far away for anyone to check. I can't remember who but some said that they thought the new game art for zelda Wii was a sequel to OOT. I dismissed this cause of the whole 2 zelda games to each link. It seems i may have been arrogant as theres the possibility that it could be a sequel to OOT's adult timeline?
