Spirit Tracks Dated for America
09-17-2009

Once again, I have to apologize for the lack of updates. I have just been über-busy, but enough about that; let's talk Spirit Tracks!

So, this is kind of nice (kind of, and I'll explain why). We now have an American release date for The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks.

It will be released on December 7th of this year.

Now, as to why I am not that excited about it; it's pretty basic. Most people forgot that Spirit Tracks was only a tentative title, and thus potentially subject to change. I don't know about you guys, but I was not particularly fond of the name, "Spirit Tracks." I'm not sure why, but I think that it's a little gimmicky and a little too cheesy because of the emphasis on the train aspect of the game.

At any rate, it'll be nice to finally get our hands on this game!

It is the American release-date by the way. We Europeans are still waiting for a date.

Sorry if I didn't make that entirely clear. I said "American," but neglected to mention that the European date is still not known. Thanks Henrie!

Yes! I never say this but i'm happy to be an american right now. As for the name, it's definitely pretty lame. I really hope i'll like it more once i play the game. I wasn't really to cool with minish cap until i got my hands on the game so we'll see.

The moment they announced Spirit Tracks as a tentative title, I (unfortunately) knew it wouldn\'t be changed. I\'m fairly certain the same thing happened to either Twilight Princess or Phantom Hourglass.

I don't know, I think Link's Awakening is probably the name I like least . . .

I think Adventure of Link is my least favorite.

*shrugs*

To be honest, I've not really scrutinized the games that follow the TWW style art. They've always felt, aside from amusingly enough TWW, to be more of the light hearted Zelda titles.

As such, I've no problem with buying a Zelda title called "Spirit Tracks". New Zelda is new Zelda. :P
