New Spirit Tracks Trailer Reveals Secret Behind Phantom Control

I knew it! Okay, I didn't know exactly the mechanism for the way this worked, but I knew those Phantoms wouldn't have done such a 180º change of heart that easily!
If you saw any of the E3 demos of Spirit Tracks, then you know that Link can control the Phantoms, the once main enemy of the Temple of the Ocean King.
As you will find in the newly-revealed trailer below, the means for such control lies in the fact that Zelda's ghost will actually accompany you throughout your quest and control the Phantoms for you. It's also a nice trailer because it shows off some new footage of the game as well.

Every so often this happens, but technically, we should have seen this coming. I mean, it is strange that these Phantoms would suddenly help you. On top of that, a story we mentioned two days ago about the Japanese Spirit Tracks site actually pointed to something a little strange. Take a look at what I circled...

Doesn't Zelda look a little more ghostly than she did before? At any rate, it's nice that we're at least getting a little more info a month before the release here in the U.S.
