Davogones began a Zelda site seven years ago on this day, according to his latest update, that eventually became the site that is Zelda Legends today. After merging with Khuffie's site some time ago, it seemed like the site would become the ultimate Zelda fan site. But since then, the site has slowly began to lose a bit of its luster with both Davogones and Khuffie being unable to update often. But to those who frequent the site, you may notice Lord-of-Shadow has been updating more frequently and keeping the site afloat. Today, LoS was promoted to the head webmaster of Zelda Legends.

Davogones and Khuffie have agreed to appoint Lord-of-Shadow, as of today, to the position of webmaster of Zelda Legends. Davogones and Khuffie both wish to be regarded as "founders" from now on, much like former webmasters at other sites now go by (suck as Anakin of Zelda Universe). As such, I myself would like to thank first Davogones for all the outstanding work he has done for the Zelda community in trying to bring the timeline discussion into the realm of serious debate rather than mindless fan theories. As for Khuffie, while I do not get along with him very well, he did help foster the environment for the birth of serious debate on his Legends Alliance forums. Good luck to both of you in your future endeavors.

Lord-of-Shadow is probably one of the most well-known Zelda fans in the community. He's worked for countless sites over the past few years and is active in nearly every other one. He has the determination and resources to bring Zelda Legends into a whole new realm which it hasn't been before. Perhaps giving it some more life than just endless amounts of text documents and comparison guides. In all honesty, he reminds me of myself at that age, though I think he has a bit more maturity than I had.

Either way, it's certainly welcomed news in my book. There's nobody more deserving of the role as Lord-of-Shadow is, and I think it will only bring about the best for a site that was getting stale. We here wish you the best of luck, Los, and hope ZL prospers under your tutelage!
