Zelda New Phantom Hourglass Artwork

The most recent issue of Nintendo Dream, a Japanese gaming publication, revealed some new artwork for the upcoming "Phantom Hourglass". Unfortunately, nobody has translated the scans yet so I'm not exactly sure what is revealed. Hopefully somebody like Beno or Goddess Rinoa will see them and translate them for everyone. But what is known is that Tingle is returning, the game involves multiple Links, and you use the stylus to control Link.

As you can probably interpret from the visuals, Phantom Hourglass will incorporate some multi-player action, even further in-depth than Four Swords (I count seven different Links there). This may be a bit of a dissapointment to some fans hoping for a dedicated solo adventure that had nothing to do with the multiplayer series.

What's more disheartening is the fact Tingle is back. I'm really not a fan of this guy, and he's being overused. I hope this is the last time we get to see the man who thinks he is a fairy in a Zelda title. It appears since this game deals with maps, the master of map selling is making a required appearance.

Finally, it seems like some, if not all, of the sword-fighting and gameplay is controlled by the stylus - something speculating on heavily after analyzing the trailer at GDC 2006 to death. I'm actually not a fan of the stylus. The DS screen is too small, the stylus is too small, and it tends to make my wrists hurt when I play a DS title with the stylus for more than 20 minutes.

Either way, I don't have the issue and I can't read French or Japanese, so I can't give out anymore info than what I can see. But, I find it very off we're getting more Phantom Hourglass info, and no new Twilight Princess info.

Is Nintendo going to drop a Zelda bomb at E3?
