After a grueling week of scanning, I've finally finished uploading The Minish Cap manga to our media gallery. You can now view the entire manga in its original language! However, if you would like to see a fan translation, you can see the first chapter of The Minish Cap translated by Goddess Rinoa over at Zelda Infinite. Now that I've finished my first manga, it's time to resume the official artwork scanning.

First, I would like to say how awesome the artwork I saw on Zelda Legends was. So awesome, I had my girlfriend speak with a guy on Ebay Germany to negotiate a shipping deal so I could purchase 10 official Player's Guides, which I hope are all filled with as much new artwork as the LA and ALttP guides were. I'm not sure how long it will take for them to arrive, but hopefully they come by the end of the month.

Speaking of other artwork, I do have a lot of stuff that's not been seen (at least I haven't seen it) from some of the newer guides, especially the Japanese guides. However, I would prefer to do this in order. Next on my list is The Adventure of Link. I will scan all the artwork I have from the Fun Club magazines (US and Canada), Nintendo Power, manuals, posters and guides from here and elsewhere. Hopefully some of the artwork will be new, such as artwork for all of the bosses from The Adventure of Link.

I appreciate the positive feedback in our forums to the Legend of Zelda artwork and the scans of The Minish Cap. Finally getting a scanner paid off, huh? Anyway, I know my "scanning" ability isn't the best - if you have suggestions or input on how to improve them, I would be greatly appreciative. I'm pretty good with PhotoShop and Fireworks, I just am not a pro on scanning materials, so I'm not sure if I have the right settings or what. Goddess Rinoa helped me out a bit to get the scans to look as decent as they are now, but I've seen scans by others which just really have better colors and are more "solid" than "pixelated".

Also, if you know of any artwork you've seen that you do not have a good image of or would like to be made public, let me know about it and how to obtain the source material - I'll purchase it and scan it for public use. As you know, all official artwork scanned on this site is open use, so feel free to reuse it as you see fit. This stuff is for everyone to enjoy.
