This week, Nintendo of America
Inc., distributed out cabin assignments for those who signed up for
this year's Camp Hyrule online event. The e-mails contained your cabin
number, who your NOAs will be, and when your cabin chat times will
occur. In addition, the e-mail revealed the grand prize for the random
end-of-camp drawing will be a highly coveted Nintendo Wii.
I also wanted to give you an
update on my "Lost Woods Trivia Challenge". While it is
still being debated how it should be run, I should notify you all
it is being considered that it turn into an all-Nintendo trivia, and
that it strictly be for fun - not for points. However, I feel that
this is going to be the fourth year this event has been running, so
I am not sure if changing it so dramatically is a good thing.
So, I will at least announce
the trivia times. On Monday, August 14th, the first session will be
at 1PM PDT (-8GMT) and then again at 5PM PDT (-8GMT). On Tuesday through
Thursday, the sessions will be at 9AM PDT (-8GMT), 1PM PDT (-8GMT)
and 5PM PDT (-8GMT). Friday, there will only be one session, and it
will be dependent on when the finalists want to do it, or if there
is no competition, and it is just for fun, it will be in the morning.
I'm considering doing a "hybdrid",
where some sessions are for fun, and some are for Zelda only. I will
post the final announcement on this event SUNDAY, AUGUST 13th sometime
in the evening, PDT (-8GMT). Be sure to check back then for a final
update. Oh, in case you're wondering, I'm in Cabin #2. Wii will win.
