Zelda: Twilight Princess Artwork

The new Nintendo Power issue is out, and boy did it sort of under-deliver on its promise of new Twilight Princess information. The entire feature was a recap of what the E3 2006 demo included, which was nothing new to 99% of us. However, in disguise in the article were three new pieces of artwork (two have been widely publicized by now).

The information about the Wii and GCN versions of Twilight Princess being identical to each other, except for the controls, was from a Player's Pulse question - it's hardly anything official, and even the answer states the resolution difference between the two will result in the Wii being slightly superior in graphics. Also, the "fairy" guide is only present in the Wii version - another hint the answer isn't authoratative in nature. So hold your horses those thinking TP for GCN will be identical to Wii...there's still a chance some bonus will pop up.

There is now official Fire Boss artwork from the Goron Mines dungeon in TP.

We've all seen the Fire Boss and Hena artwork by now, both very low resolution images, but there were also two other cool pieces of imagery apparently all the major sites missed out on who first reported on the info in this issue. First, in the article's banner, there is artwork of a dungeon scene, which is not all visible thanks to the title and the Link artwork overlapping. Secondly, there is a screenshot of Link in a dungeon area from Goron Mines, which shows awesome lighting effects..

Nice lighting, but what's up with the motion-blur?
Other than these thiings, however, there wasn't much new. In the community section, however, there is a small area on my girlfriend, The Princess Zelda, and her friend PikminLink at E3 when they Cosplayed as Link and Princess Zelda and met Miyamoto. I censored out their real names - niether actually wanted their names made public, but they never told NP so it is not NP's fault (not blaming you NP, don't think we are).
