| So, on Kotaku and GoNintendo
over the past few weeks, or through various other sources, some people
have caught wind of this "Wii Party" thing. Well, gladly
nobody leaked the info completely, and gladly both sites' sources
weren't completely accurate (or at least niether totally had it correct).
Anyway, I was given the green light by Nintendo today to reveal that
I'm part of the program, and that I can explain what the heck is going
on. |
| |
| Alright, so basically Nintendo
selected people based on some criteria that I don't even really know
of myself, and then these people filled out surveys and submitted
a "profile" about themselves. From those two things is how
the final ambassador's were then selected. So, that's basically how
that happened. Now, as for the details, I can't give out everything,
but here's the basics. |
|
|
| Depending on how many "ambassadors"
per area were selected, each one gets to invites a set amount of guests
to their event. The event date will be sometime in the near future,
though the ambassadors have been made aware of the specific dates.
Apparently, the location of the events themselves are being kept so
secretive, not even the ambassadors are being told where they are!
|
| |
| As for what will happen at
the event, I only can say this. There will be a cap of thirty people
at the event, or at least thirty invitees. There will be supposedly
around eight Nintendo Wiis, and the guests will get to play them as
long as they want, devoid of any lines (TAKE THAT E3). Food, drinks
and a great environment will be provided for all to enjoy. |
| |
| So...I hope that clarifies it.
As for how the heck I know this all - well...what better source to
trust than yourself! That's right, I was selected as one of the Wii
Ambassadors. I get to select thirty friends and guests to partake
in the event. I currently am compiling my list, and I'm at around
18 people now. So, should some of you be interested in attending this,
and I somehow missed your name, you can give me a buzz. My party will
be held in Los Angeles next month, and it's actually the first party
out of them all. |
| |
| I do, however, have a deadline
to turn in my list of guests to Nintendo, so if you are interested,
you need to get in touch with me soon. I have limited space available,
if any. But it can't hurt, can it? |

is the manga. Part one of our three part segment focuses on a potential
