Speaking with somebody this past Saturday from Nintendo at San Diego Comic-Con, it was confirmed Phantom Hourglass was not at Comic-Con because it they wanted to focus solely on 2006 DS software, and the latest title at the con was Elite Beat Agents, which Nintendo confirmed was scheduled to be out for November 2006.

*Update* - Nintendo issued a press release today with DS titles through December and Phantom Hourglass is not on it, and Elite Beat Agents is a Nov 6 release.

The Nintendo rep revealed that the earliest we would see Phantom Hourglass would be this Christmas, but more than likely it will fall back until 2007. This may come as a bit of a shock to some thinking it was really far along, but hopefully Nintendo will reconsider the all-stylus gameplay and settle for a happy moderation. Expect an announcement about Phantom Hourglass' release status officially from Nintendo of America somtime in August or September.

However, Twilight Princess is scheduled to still be a launch title for Wii, and despite what Nintendo of Europe has said, this source also stated Twilight Princess was the final title for the North American version, although the European version could see a name change - it's been known to happen the source said.

I'd also like to say that First4Figurines plans to begin pre-sales of their Zelda figurines next Friday, hopefully, if everything is on schedule. The first round of figures will be completed sometime in mid-September. I'll be having extensive coverage of them on my site (big thanks to Alex and Darren, really awesome guys at First4Figurines). I'll also be running some feedback polls for them to help them out a bit.
