Yesterday the televsion commercial
for the upcoming Freshly Picked Tingle's Rose Colored Rupee Land hit
YouTube, and earlier today it went up on the official Japanese microsite.
The commercial certainly highlights the unique nature of the game,
but it also reveals for the first time how the game will look while
you play it. I have to say, I liked much of what I saw.
The commercial was first picked
up by GoNintendo and linked to as a YouTube file. I guess somebody
in Japan recorded it or got it from somewhere else. You can go ahead
and take a look at the video by clicking the image below.
Additionally, the official site
has the commercial in flash format. You can check that out by clicking
here.
The music for the commercial is a bit interesting, and I found the
Stalfos boss battle part the most intriguing, as we finally got a
glimpse of how the fighting in the game will work.
Unfortunately, it does not
look like we will have a DS capture device in time for this game's
launch, so a good old digital camcorder and the DS lite will have
to do for now. The game should be to us in about two-to-three weeks,
and we'll be sure to get scans of all the packaging and artwork, as
well as videos and sreens of the game.
Probably the most unappreciated form of media from the Zelda series
is the manga. Part one of our three part segment focuses on a potential
Zelda film inspired by the manga.
Should Zelda fans get so worked up over the timeline of The Legend
of Zelda? Legions of fans debate this hot topic to no end, and there
isn't any relief in sight. Here's our take on the whole ordeal.
Did you know there is a documentary on The Legend of Zelda series?
Unfortunately, it is only in Japanese, but with the help of some
fans, one day this priceless work may be translated for all to enjoy!
